PALLET DISTRIBUTION

NLC Transport Services Ltd is part of the Fortec Pallet Network which provides Nationwide and European Pallet Distribution. The Fortec Pallet Network was formed over ten years ago and is now made up of over fifty (50) companies like NLC Transport Ltd which together offer a seamless pallet delivery network.

Each member of the network is responsible for the collection and delivery of pallets within their local postcode areas. All the pallets we collect within our area are trunked each night on our state of the art double deck trailers to the central hub in Rugby. They are then sorted through the hub to other network members who then take them for distribution in their postcode areas. We in turn bring back the pallets from other network members for delivery in our allocated postcode areas the following day.

What Services do we offer?

The network can cater with three (3) pallet types.

• A. Not exceeding 1.2m x 1.2m x 1m high and 500 kg in weight.
• B. Not exceeding 1.2m x 1.2m x 2.2m high and 1000 kg in weight. 
• C. Not exceeding 1.2m x 2.4m x 1m high and 1250 kg in weight.

Next day delivery is available to most UK mainland with timed Am and Saturday delivery premium options available for a small surcharge.

Economy delivery is also available for less time critical consignments. There are no premium services available on the economy service. However if you have a consignment that needs booking in for delivery and you have the flexibility to let us arrange the booking time, then we make no extra charge for this economy service.

There is also a free tail lift delivery option which can be selected when you book your collection for all pallets up to 1000kg.
